Health Screening
Screenings, which capture the basic but critical health information, are the best way to initiate a
preventative health program, as with early identification and intervention a customized program will lead to
a healthier life. Care Dynamix offers a comprehensive list of quality, on-site screenings administered by our
network of highly-trained medical professionals around the US.
The Care Dynamix basic Biometric Screening includes the following:
• Body Mass Index (BMI) measurement (including measurement of height, weight and waist to hip ratio)
• Blood Pressure measurement
• Full Lipid Profile (which captures Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides and Glucose)
The Biometric Screening is the test most often chosen to establish an individual’s baseline health, the
information from which is then processed into the Care Dynamix Health Risk Assessment (HRA), with results
sent directly to both the employer (for the group screened) and employee (individual specific) for the Health
Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance. An HRA is a fact-based evaluation tool that
assesses an individual’s current health condition based on the output from the Biometric Screening, and
should the individual be at risk recommends behavioral changes that lead to decreased risk of chronic
disease.
For convenience, the blood required can be either drawn on-site during the event or through a finger stick
testing package that can be done at home and then mailed to a Care Dynamix partner service center, or
alternatively if there is a scheduling conflict an employee can be directed to one of the many partner service
center locations.
While the Biometric Screening is the event selected most often by our clients, other high demand products
that can be offered on-site, either on a stand-alone or grouped basis, are:
• Cholesterol Test
• Blood Pressure Screening
• Diabetes Screening
