Biometrics
Care Dynamix offers Biometric Screening as an all-in-one on-site screening event. Biometric screening
is the screening most often requested because it provides the most comprehensive group of tests to
determine an individual's overall health.
The information from the screening is then processed into the Care Dynamix Health Risk Assessment (HRA),
with results sent directly to both the employer (for the group screened) and employee (individual specific)
for the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance.
For convenience, the blood required can be either drawn on-site during the event or through a finger stick
testing package that can be done at home and then mailed to a CareDynamix partner service center, or
alternatively if there is a scheduling conflict an individual can be directed to one of the many partner service
center locations.
Biometric screening includes the following:
• Body Mass Index (BMI) - Calculated from height, weight, age and body fat percentage. BMI is one
way to determine whether or not an adult is overweight.
• Blood Pressure - Measures the force of blood flow against artery walls. For more information, click here

• Full Lipid Profile - A group of tests (Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides and Glucose) to
determine the risk of coronary heart disease. The tests that make up the profile have been shown
to be good indicators of whether someone is likely to have a heart attack or stroke cause by
